The University of Idaho Library and Latah County Historical Society invite you to celebrate the recent publication of Camas Prairie Railroad, written by UI Special Collections Librarian Robert Perret and UI Archives Manager Amy Thompson, on Tuesday, June 7th, in the LeCompte Auditorium at the 1912 Center at 6 pm. The authors will share the remarkable story of the construction behind the last vital section of rail to directly connect the eastern United States with the Pacific Northwest. Attendees will enjoy viewing a number of historic images and learning about the authors’ research process. This event is free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
