CLARKSTON, WA –December 13, 2022- Tri-State Hospital Foundation is hosting their second MediaThon
Fundraiser December 14, from 7:00am-6:30pm. Funds raised will go towards the expansion and update
of the Surgical Center for Tri-State Memorial Hospital. Donations can be made by calling 509.758.4902
or by visiting www.sustaintristate.org.
Between 2019 and 2021, surgical services at Tri-State have increased by 54% and are expected to
continue. Tri-State’s most common surgeries are replacements of the knee, hip, shoulders, followed by
hernias. As surgery needs continue to rise in the Lewis-Clark Valley, Tri-State Memorial Hospital saw the
need to update their surgical center so that patients can stay local for their healthcare. The new
expansion and update will provide patients and families with the optimum care they each deserve.

The entirety of the surgery expansion project will cost upwards of $4 million. The Tri-State Hospital
Foundation is tasked to raise $1 million dollars, with a goal of reaching $50,000 goal during the
December 14 MediaThon Event
