May 3rd, 2022 (Moscow, Idaho) — Opening day of the the Moscow Farmers Market is set for Sat., May 7th. This year, the Market celebrates its 46th season with the return of a full slate of features and programming, including weekly live entertainment in Friendship Square from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The Moscow Tree Commission will have free tree seedlings available in honor of Arbor Day in front of the downtown bus shelter. Varieties include redosier dogwood, bur oak, and western larch while supplies last. Commission members are also available from 9 am – 12 pm to answer any questions on the Moscow Heritage Tree Program.
Find University of Idaho College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (UI CALS) throughout the Market season on Fifth Street from 8 am to 1 pm. This week, their booth will host the UI Soil Stewards Club with plant starts for sale. UI Soil Stewards is a student-run organic farm club, which teaches students how to execute various tasks concerning farm management and focuses on sustainable farming practices.
The Market is celebrating National Bike Month by increasing the weekly Bicycle Benefits incentive from $2 to $4. Visit the City Information Tent throughout the month of May and show staff your bike helmet with the Bicycle Benefits sticker to receive tokens which may be used to shop from all Market Vendors. Don’t have a Bicycle Benefits sticker? Stickers are available for purchase for $5, cash only.
The Moscow Farmers Market runs every Sat., May through Oct., 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Moscow on Main Street and Friendship Square.
