The Latah County Historical Society invites you to an open house for its latest exhibit, “Inland Northwest Immigrants: Newcomers to Latah County,” from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11th at the historic McConnell Mansion (110 S. Adams St) in Moscow. Enjoy light refreshments while exploring the lives of German, Irish, and Swedish immigrant families through their photos, documents, a 1914 wedding dress, and much more. The exhibit will remain on display through the end of August.
This exhibit was created by LCHS intern Jessica O’Rourke, a WSU graduate student focusing on Public History, for her internship final project. Additional thanks go to Moscow Contemporary and Washington State University for assisting with this project.
