The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission announce the opening of registration for the Erasure Poetry Workshop, an event to be held at Moscow City Hall on Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Moscow Poet Laureate, Stacy Boe Miller, will teach strategies for creating poetry. Workshop participants will go home with a set of art supplies to continue the practice on their own. This workshop is limited to 15 participants and is presented free-of-charge to those 13 years-of-age or older.

The Moscow Poet Laureate Program began in 2015, inspired by the vision of the Moscow Arts Commission and University of Idaho English Professor Alexandra Teague. Since that time, the following poets have offered their literary expertise to this City of Moscow program: Tiffany Midge (2015-2018), Susan Hodgin (2018-2021), and Stacy Boe Miller (2021-2024). City of Moscow Arts programming is made possible by support from the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
