CLARKSTON, WA – February 9, 2022 – Clarkston School District will welcome Keynote Speaker Lee Cockerell, former Executive Vice President of Operations for Walt Disney World Resort, to the LewisClark Valley, February 20-22.

Lee Cockerell will join the Clarkston School District, and various community businesses, including; LewisClark Valley Chamber of Commerce, Tri-State Memorial Hospital, and Walla Walla Community College, along with community members and students, February 20-22, to speak about creating “Valley Magic” in the Lewis-Clark Valley. Cockerell’s 3-day visit will include seminars throughout the area explaining how to “create magic” and build brighter futures for our community.

As the Senior Operating Executive, Lee led a team of 40,000 cast members and was responsible for the operations of 20 resort hotels, 4 theme parks and 2 water parks. After leading operations all over the world for Hilton Hotels Corporation, Marriott Hotels and Resorts, and The Walt Disney Company, Lee has formed his own company to share what he has learned. One of Lee’s major and lasting legacies was the creation of Disney Great Leader Strategies, which was used to train and develop the 7,000 leaders at Walt Disney World.

The Clarkston School District will hold a public event on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 7:00pm at the Clarkston High School Auditorium, and a parents and students’ session on Tuesday, February 22, from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Clarkston High School Auditorium. A maximum of 500 attendees are welcome during each event, and individuals must have an event ticket to attend.
