About the Chamber
The Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center (MCOC+VC) is where commerce and community come together! Our mission is to strengthen, promote, and lead the business and economic community and support the free enterprise system while preserving and enhancing the quality of life. For 70 years, the Chamber has been an integral part of the community, providing leadership in business, cultural, social, education and government services. The Chamber leadership comes from you, the member. By being a member of the chamber, you and your organization are leaders in the business community, helping to shape our future generations and cultivate community across the Palouse.

Sam Martinet
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Sam Martinet holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and served in the United States Marine Corps as a logistics analyst. She is also a 2018 graduate of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce Leadership Moscow program and has served as the Vice President of the Latah County United Way.
Sam is an energetic, passionate, leader and a self-proclaimed “eternal optimist.” Her extensive background in community relations, leadership development, and program management has given her a solid foundation to serve Moscow’s business community.

Alys Lease
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
Alys Lease has a long history with the Palouse Region. She first attended and graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations and English. Since university, Alys has worked in multiple positions building her skills as a customer service professional, event manager, writer, and data researcher.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time downtown, baking, reading, writing, exploring wineries, live comedy, and playing board games of any kind.

Anastasia Blaisdell
MEMBER SERVICES MANAGER
Anastasia is a dynamic and passionate professional living in Moscow, Idaho. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Washington State University, where she honed her communication and strategic planning skills. She’s dedicated to promoting economic growth and fostering community engagement. She loves connecting people and businesses, showcasing local artisans, and forging partnerships to support economic development. Outside of her professional work, she volunteers her time mentoring young people and supporting her husband’s band, Plaid Raptor. You’ll often find her collecting unicorns, adding unique pieces to her yard art collection, and working on puzzles in her free time. If you share a love for creativity and community, you’ll get along great!

How Can We Help?
Referrals of member businesses to people needing goods and services in the Moscow area through telephone contact with staff, e-mail, online, and the Member Business Directory. Event and business promotion through economical advertising in the, “Choose the Palouse” Visitor Guide, Relocation Kits and the Events Calendar.
Current Issues of interest to the community tackled by the monthly Membership Luncheons.A unique two-day interactive educational experience through the Annual Legislative Tour, which brings members to Boise during the legislative session to meet with chief elected officials, agency staff, and legislators.
Leadership Moscow works to cultivate leaders in Moscow and Latah County by offering a concentrated, hands-on learning experience to enhance and build leadership qualities. Leadership Moscow works to develop advocates for Moscow and its surrounding rural communities who will serve as a voice for the Moscow and Latah County for generations to come.
Opportunities to make contacts through Chamber functions such as Membership Luncheons, Business After Hours, the annual Chamber auction, and other events. Introduction to the community through a new member feature in the newsletter and Facebook with the ability to expand contacts and clients through display of company brochures and business cards in the Chamber Visitor Center. Interaction with neighboring communities in North Idaho and Eastern Washington through alliances with chamber and economic development groups.
