BookPeople of Moscow welcomes author and historian Adam Sowards of Moscow, Idaho at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 4. Sowards will read from his book “Making America’s Public Lands” followed by a discussion with Kenton Bird, professor at the University of Idaho, and a Q&A.  Books will be available for sale and signing. The event is co-sponsored with the University of Idaho.

The event will be hosted by the Kenworthy Theater, 508 South Main Street across the street from BookPeople.  Masks are required.

Adam M. Sowards is an award-winning environmental historian, writer, and professor. Making America’s Public Lands is his fifth book. At the heart of his work are questions about nature and democracy. He has taught at the University of Idaho since 2003. https://adamsowards.net
