BookPeople of Moscow welcomes author Julia Parker of Moscow, Idaho at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 13.  Parker is the author of “Navigating Eldercare,” about challenges of life for elders and their families.  She and BookPeople of Moscow owner Carol Price will discuss the challenges, joys, and unknowns of helping our parents and other elders as they age.  Books will be available for purchase.

The event will be hosted by the Kenworthy Theater, 508 South Main Street across the street from BookPeople.  Masks are required.

Julia Parker is an experienced geriatric nurse and elder care leader with a reputation for passionate and intelligent advocacy for elders and their families. In addition to her years of experience in geriatric nursing, Julia has participated in extensive training through: American Nursing Credential Center as a certified geriatric nurse; National Council of Certification Dementia Practitioners; Alzheimer’s Association; and American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. Julia is the author of “Navigating Elder Care” published in 2021 and has written for McKnight’s Senior Living and Idaho Nurse.
