BookPeople of Moscow welcomes award-winning author Jess Walter of Spokane, WA at 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 31. Walter will read from his latest book “The Angel of Rome and Other Stories.” The author will sign copies of the book after the reading.

Admission to the event is included with purchase of “The Angel of Rome” from BookPeople of Moscow. To find out if tickets will be available at the door, please check on August 31.

The event will be hosted by the Kenworthy Theater, 508 South Main Street across the street from BookPeople.  Refreshments will be for sale, including wine and beer.

Jess Walter is the author of ten books, most recently the short story collection “The Angel of Rome.” His other books include the national bestseller “The Cold Millions” and the #1 New York Times bestseller, “Beautiful Ruins;” “The Zero,” a finalist for the National Book Award; and “Citizen Vince,” winner of the Edgar Award. His work has been published in 35 languages and his short fiction has appeared three times in Best American Short Stories.
