CLARKSTON, WA – January 17, 2024 – To meet the growing healthcare needs of the Lewis-Clark Valley
and surrounding region, TriState Health welcomes Julius Szigeti II, MD, a board-certified physician who
specializes in urogynecology and minimally invasive urogynecologic surgery. He comes to TriState Health
with over 30 years of experience in his field. Welcoming Dr. Szigeti also announces the opening of a new
clinic, TriState Urogynecology, in February 2024.
TriState Urogynecology is staffed by the only urogynecological specialist in the region, along with
Dezirae Berry, NP-C. Together, they will provide innovative female pelvic medicine and create
personalized health plans to improve the quality of life for their patients. Using the latest, cutting-edge
techniques, they will diagnose and treat a broad range of female pelvic health conditions, including:
Frequent Bladder Infections
Overactive Bladder
Pelvic Pain
Pelvic Organ Prolapse

Urinary Incontinence
Sexual Dysfunction
And Other Pelvic Floor Conditions
In addition to providing care for various female pelvic health conditions, Dr. Szigeti specializes in
minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Minimally invasive surgery treats an extensive range of
gynecologic conditions and may have benefits over traditional surgery, including lower risk of
complications and faster recovery.
“Right now, many in our community who currently suffer from pelvic health conditions have to travel to
Spokane, Seattle, or even Boise to receive care…and even then, they may have to wait several months to
be seen,” said Joleen Carper, Chief of Clinic Operations for TriState Health. “Opening TriState
Urogynecology is another way that TriState Health is growing to meet the healthcare needs of those in
our area. Access to a local urogynecologist ensures that women in the region can receive specialized care
tailored to their unique needs, while remaining close to home.”
