The 1912 Center has a room capacity of 120. Located at 412 East 3rd Street, the former Moscow High School, built in 1912, is a three-story, 30,000 square foot building located on the edge of an historic residential neighborhood, three blocks from the City’s commercial core. This landmark is the home of Moscow’s first multi-generational, multipurpose community center.

The Appaloosa Museum is located in the heart of Palouse Country – considered the home of the Appaloosa breed. The museum is a non-profit organization established in 1975 to collect, preserve, study, and exhibit objects and information that illustrate the history of the Appaloosa horse. Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a non-profit organization that cultivates creativity on the Palouse by providing studio space for working artists, a venue for local performing and exhibiting artists, and creative experiences for children and adults. The state-of-the-art facility has been transformed from a former dairy barn. Attractions include a gift shop featuring art, fine crafts and products from the Palouse. Charles R. Conner Museum is one of the most popular of the several museums housed on the campus of Washington State University in Pullman. This 417-seat theater is home for the University of Idaho Theatre Department’s productions. The WSU Museum of Art is the largest fine arts facility in the Northwest and operates a program of exhibits changing throughout the year. Since the 1960s, the University of Idaho Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival is one of the largest and oldest educational jazz festivals in the world. With over 400 student performances, a dozen world-class jazz artists and nearly 100 workshops, clinics and special exhibits, the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival honors the music, dance and history of jazz music and one of its most honored artists, Lionel Hampton. The two-story house is a blend of Victorian, Queen Anne, and Eastlake styles. The rooms on the first floor have been restored to historic periods reflecting the house’s history, from turn-of-the-century parlors to the 1930s kitchen. A friendly volunteer will give you a tour of the rooms and information about the house, Moscow, and Latah County. Upstairs are two exhibit areas which offer well-researched and interpreted perspectives on people, places, and events of Latah County.
