MOSCOW, ID: APOD Productions is proud to produce the Palouse Premiere of Jill
Santoriello’s sweeping Broadway Musical Drama, A Tale of Two Cities based on
Charles Dickens’ epic story of love, revolution and redemption.

The plot: “Two men in love with the same woman. Two cities swept up in revolution.
One last chance for a man to redeem his wasted life and change the world. Based on
Charles Dickens’ masterpiece, A Tale of Two Cities is a musical that focuses on the
love triangle between young beauty Lucie Manette, French aristocrat Charles Darnay
and drunken English cynic Sydney Carton – all caught in the clutches of the bloody
French Revolution.”

“This is the most ambitious show we have ever done,” said Director Todd Payne. “The
biggest cast, biggest set, most complex staging…even more than what we were able to
accomplish last year with Jane Eyre. The story has it all like you would expect from any
Dickens novel—romance, plot twist, and an ending that is tragic, sad, inspirational, and
triumphant all at once. The music is wonderful and the cast really tells the story in an
amazing way.”

A Tale of Two Cities opens at the Viola Community Center Friday, November 4th at 7
PM, with additional evening and matinee performances through November 12th.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at BookPeople in downtown Moscow ($14/
adults, $10 kids [6-12]) and at www.apodproductions.org. Tickets can also be
purchased at the door ($16/adults, $12 kids [6-12]).
