When Dr. Fredrick Church donated his home to Latah County, he did so with the expressed hope that it would serve as a gathering place for curious minds. In that spirit, Latah County Historical Society presents “The Salon,” a fun and enriching evening of author readings and mini-lessons at the historic McConnell Mansion, on Thursday, May 19th starting at 5:30 p.m.

Featuring authors David Harlon, Alexandra Teague, and Judy Sobeloff, who will read from original works, a short wine tasting lesson with Camas Prairie Winery, music with the Ukulele Players of the Palouse, and a Victorian craft. After the wine tasting, there will be a no-host bar served by Camas Prairie Winery.
