The Latah County Historical Society is pleased to announce the selection of Hayley Noble as its new Executive Director. Originally from Nevada, Hayley earned her B.A. and M.A. in History from Boise State University with an emphasis on military history, completing her thesis project on Soviet women in combat on the Eastern Front. She was also employed by the Old Idaho Penitentiary curating exhibits, researching public inquiries, and creating social media content.

Hayley first joined the LCHS team as Museum Curator in July of last year and, in that time, has made great strides in streamlining and organizing the archival collections. Of her new role in the society, Hayley says she has big shoes to fill, but is excited for the future and upcoming projects. She assumes the Executive Director position following the departure of longtime director Dulce Kersting-Lark. A search for a candidate to fill the Museum Curator position will begin soon.
