October 25, 2022 | Moscow, ID –– Deciding on next steps after high school is much easier when students have possible careers in mind. But finding a path can be difficult, since many occupations aren’t well known to area students, and some of the jobs of the future don’t exist yet. To help, local non-profit, Palouse Pathways, will host an event where students can explore a wide range of careers that fit their skills and strengths.
The event will take place in Moscow and is free and open to all area high schoolers thanks to grants from Meter Foundation and Avista Corp. Learn more about the event below:
Career Exploration Course

Palouse Pathways’ Career Exploration Course is designed to help students find careers that fit their skills, strengths and interests. It is based on YouScience, a powerful tool that assesses students’ aptitudes and helps them explore career and college options. Students can access the YouScience free of charge, and they will have use of YouScience for ten years to retest and revisit possible careers. Palouse Pathways will also provide a one-on-one follow up session with a mentor for students interested in further exploring careers of interest.

Registration is required and the course will be capped at twenty students. Additional sessions will be offered in the future around the region.
