Weaving 101

Have a rigid heddle loom and not sure where to start, or just curious?  Join us if you like to learn by doing!

Bring your rigid heddle loom or shop ours, and if you don’t have equipment you can still join and learn.

Topics covered:

direct warping, parts of the loom, tiny math lesson, quick tips on success and even tension, good weaving form, and whatever else comes up all in 2 hours.  Scheduled at the end of the work day in case we go over a bit.

Saturday, October 5th, 3-5pm

Supplies list: rigid heddle loom with its threading hook, clamps, booklets, and any extra tools you have

AND 100-200g worsted weight yarn, try to bring all of the same type of yarn.  All wool or all cotton.
