Vandal Science Days- Two Days of Exploration on the U of I Campus

April 19 @ 10:00 am - April 20 @ 3:00 pm

Free

Crazy about science? We are too. Get ready for two days of exploration and discovery at Vandal Science Days. On April 19-20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the University of Idaho campus at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC), this free and open-to-the-public event promises engaging activities, workshops, and opportunities to interact with leading professors.

This event is an opportunity for students and science enthusiasts alike to immerse themselves in a variety of engaging activities and exciting workshops. Participate in a fossil dig or create a comet- there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Coinciding with the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, attendees can explore the connections between science and music in fascinating (and free) Jazz Fest workshops like “Math in the Music Scale” and “Making Waves With Music.”

Whether you’re a prospective student who wants a sneak peek into the science programs at the University of Idaho or a curious member of the public looking for a fun and educational experience, Vandal Science Days has a lot to offer.
Lastly, there’s a chance to win a $500 Vandal Science Days Scholarship – a fantastic opportunity for Future Science Students to kickstart their academic journey.
