Howling at Hamilton

The canine event of the summer is back! Howling at Hamilton is the pool day that dogs dream of. On the last day of the season before the pools are drained for winter, Hamilton-Lowe Aquatics Center lets local dogs come in to enjoy everything the park has to offer. Dogs who attend will get to swim to their heart’s content, make plenty of new friends, and they even have the chance to win a paw-some prize during our pool jumping contest!
The cost is $15 per dog. Each dog must be accompanied by at least one person who can handle them. Gates will be open from 1:00-6:00pm, and the pool jumping contest will begin at 5:00pm. We’ll have prizes for the top three dogs, thanks to our friends at Idaho Central Credit Union
Each dog in attendance must be accompanied by at least one person who can safely handle them. We ask that dogs in attendance are fully vaccinated and friendly with other dogs. When checking in, all dogs must be held on secure leashes. After entering the water park gates, they are free to run around without their leashes on!
Please do not bring food to this event.
During Howling at Hamilton, only dogs are allowed in the water. Please give your dog a good rinse after the event to remove any remaining chlorine!
If you see your pup using the restroom, please clean up after them! We will have plenty of waste bags available for your convenience.
Online registration is open now until Friday, September 8th. You can always pay at the gate with cash, card, or check! All proceeds benefit the lifesaving work at Humane Society of the Palouse.
