SPOKANE, Washington (April 8, 2022) – After being canceled for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CougsFirst! Show for Cougar alumni businesses is finally back.

CougsFirst! will hold its annual shows in Spokane on April 27 and Seattle on May 18. Don’t miss the special keynote by WSU President, Kirk Schulz. Special appearances by WSU quarterback, Cam Ward and Defensive Line, Ron Stone. Events are free to attend, all are welcome. Register now.

“CougsFirst! is one of the largest organizations of its kind in the nation and our trajectory is at the place where we need a proven business leader and entrepreneur working full time to truly realize the immense potential,” says CougsFirst! board chairman and co-founder Glenn Osterhout.

CougsFirst! was launched in 2010 by Washington State University alumni in various businesses across the state who wanted to encourage WSU graduates and friends to “Think Cougs First” for products and services.

The annual trade shows in Seattle and Spokane feature businesses owned, managed or affiliated with WSU alumni are among its most visible undertakings but the organization has grown to encompass a mentoring program, business education, virtual events, Premiere Golf Tournament, C-Suite Roundtable; a true one-stop business network with 350 plus business members that span across all industries.

The Show is a great opportunity to learn about Cougar businesses, shop screamin’ deals, and hire WSU Alumni. Networking is extended via an After Party at, Cougar-owned, Flatstick Pub, that starts when the show concludes. The free-to-attend event includes music, hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

Since its inception in 2013, CougsFirst! has grown from 40 exhibitors to 120 exhibitors. Its Facebook fan base numbers more than 18,000 followers.
