BookPeople of Moscow welcomes author Annette Bay Pimentel of Moscow, Idaho at 11 a.m.., Saturday, June 25.  Pimentel will read from her new children’s book “Before Music: Where Instruments Come From,” which explores the ways people have used the materials in nature to create musical instruments. The family-friendly event will feature interactive instrument making.

The event will be hosted by the Kenworthy Theater, 508 South Main Street across the street from BookPeople.  Masks are required.

Annette Bay Pimentel writes true stories about real people. She is the author of “All the Way to the Top,” “Girl Running,” a Junior Library Guild selection, and “Mountain Chef,” which won the Carter G. Woodson Award. www.annettebaypimentel.com
