The Latah County Historical Society invites you to the opening reception for its latest exhibit, “Moscow: Fashion Through the Decades,” from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12th at the McConnell Mansion. Enjoy light refreshments while exploring how fashion in the Idaho Panhandle has transformed from the late 19th century to the far-out 1970s. The exhibit will remain on display until Saturday, September 2nd. The McConnell Mansion is located at 110 S. Adams St. in Moscow. This program is free and open to the public to attend.
This exhibit was created in collaboration with LCHS intern Jantzen Bates, a University of Idaho Theatre master’s student focusing on costume construction. Additional thanks go to the University of Idaho Digital Initiatives and Special Collections, the University of Idaho Theatre Department, the Leila Old Historic Costume Collection, Michael Brandt, Jesse Dreikosen, Ginger Sorensen, and Sonya Meyer for assisting with this project.
