Join us March 25th 1:00 pm. at the Spalding Visitor Center for a panel presentation about the collaboration between the Nez Perce Tribe’s Cultural Resources Program and Washington State University to interpret Nimiipuu material culture associated with the 1877 Nez Perce War.
Panelists Nakia Williamson, Director of the Nez Perce Tribe’s Cultural Resources Program; Trevor Bond, Associate Dean, WSU Libraries; and WSU Students Nakia Cloud, Ila Pinkham, and Payton Sobotta will share their work to preserve and expand traditional Nimiipuu knowledge through the objects, documents, and photographs of the Lucullus V. McWhorter Collection.
