The Human Rights Task Force is a grass roots volunteer non-profit organization established in 1989 with the mission: To work for social justice for all people by supporting diversity, respect, and inclusiveness, while opposing bigotry, harassment, and discrimination. The organization sponsors annual human rights events and activities, including: Martin Luther King Community Breakfast, MLK Art & Essay Contest, Human Rights Day at the Farmer’s Market, the Great Moscow Food Drive, human rights programs for area schools, the Rosa Parks Human Rights Achievement Awards, and the recently established Moscow Together Project. We strive to collaborate with other organizations both local and regional to strengthen the movement for fairness and justice for all.
