Children Pedestrian Safety Grant Project at D Street and Mountain View Road Begins July 18th

July 1, 2022 (Moscow, Idaho) — A pedestrian improvement project at the D Street and Mountain View Road intersection is scheduled to begin Tuesday, July 18^th. This project is expected to be completed by the end of August and will replace the existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, install new storm pipe, and reconstruct the intersection to four lanes, providing a simpler path for school-aged children.

The intersection will be open for the project’s duration, though lane width will be reduced and residents are asked to be cautious of crews working on the project. Sidewalk access at the intersection will be restricted throughout the project. Residents can expect slower speeds and possible delays in this area. The City appreciates the public’s patience as these necessary repairs and upgrades are made to the infrastructure.
