This February, the Palouse Choral Society presents our Valentine’s Day cabaret concert series, Put a Little Love in Your Heart. The concerts will feature music about love performed by our Chamber Choir, Children’s Choir, and soloists and small groups from across our organization. Chamber Choir will sing a variety of music from across the world, including Scottish, Mexican, and contemporary American works as well as Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs. The Children’s Choir will perform the event’s namesake, Put a Little Love in Your Heart, and Sisi Ni Moja (Swahili for “We Are One”), a song about the interconnectedness of the human experience. Throughout the performance, soloists and small groups will regale you with their favorite songs about love, including selections as varied as Renaissance and Romantic music, musical theatre tunes, and songs by singer/songwriters.
