2024 Spring Burning Season in Moscow

City of Moscow Fire Officials have announced a spring burning season will be: March 22nd - April 22nd Open burning is allowed for garden waste, tree trimmings and brush only. The following conditions are required for open burning: 1.) Burning shall be at a distance of at least 25 feet from any building, structure or other combustible material when the pile size is 3 feet or less in diameter and 2 feet or less in height. Inland North Waste Expands Roll-off Rental Program in Response to Requests for Additional Inventory

Beginning November 1st, 2023, Inland North Waste will be expanding their roll-off rental program, increasing inventory, and providing the greatest variety of box sizes in the area. The decision to further develop this program is in direct response to a stated need in the area from a variety of different sectors and is another instance of Inland North Waste ‘Waiving Back’ to and supporting the greater community. Moscow Day School collecting for a community-focused kids’ winter gear swap

The Moscow Day School is collecting gently used children’s winter gear for a community exchange to be hosted on Saturday, November 5th at the 1912 Center during the first Winter Market of the season. The exchange will be open to all community members, free of charge, with attendees encouraged to “bring an item, take an item.” In order to better serve families in need, the school is also collecting new or gently used items such as coats, hats, gloves, snow pants, and boots in advance of the swap.
