PULLMAN, Wash.—February 4, 2026— Schweitzer Wellbeing Center (SWC) is excited to announce the launch of its new aquatic fitness program, with classes beginning Feb. 9.

Designed for individuals of all fitness levels, the new lineup of aquatic fitness classes focuses on helping participants:

  • Improve functional movement
  • Build strength
  • Boost energy
  • Stay active in a supportive, low-impact environment

Aquatic fitness sessions provide a low-impact, high-benefit approach to exercise, ideal for those seeking a gentle yet effective workout supported by the natural resistance of water.

Classes are offered on a drop-in basis for maximum flexibility.

SWC is a community-focused health and fitness facility in Pullman, Wash., owned and operated by Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL). The facility was originally funded by a generous gift from the Schweitzer family and opened in 2000, before being donated to the Pullman School District.
