Moscow, Idaho (August 14, 2025) — Palouse Habitat for Humanity invites the public to join us for a wall raising celebration for the Namauu family home this Sunday, August 17 at 1:00 pm at 565 Umatilla Court in Pullman.

“We would like to thank everyone for this amazing opportunity, and everyone who contributes toward our home in any way,” shared future homeowners Shayla and Jacob Namauu. “Being able to partner with Habitat for Humanity is a life-changing chance, not only for us, but for our daughters.”

Funds to build Habitat homes are raised through fundraisers, grants, sales from the ReStore and donations of materials or labor. Palouse Habitat spends those funds locally, purchasing building materials and hiring local subcontractors. Visit palousehabitat.org/donate to make a gift to help finish the home. Volunteer to help finish Jake and Shayla’s home! Tools, supervision and training are provided. We’re building three days a week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sign up online at https://palousehabitat.org.
