Moscow, Idaho. (June 24, 2025) — Palouse Habitat for Humanity invites the public to join us for a wall raising celebration for the Jake Austin home this Saturday, June 28 at 1:00 pm at 409 Powers Ave in Moscow.
Jake shared “This Habitat home means the world to me. It means I’m able to grow with my family instead of surviving with my family. A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I’m able to focus on the small things instead of always worrying about the large things. I applied for a Habitat home to better my life and the boys’ life. My boys need a yard and something of their own to make them feel stable and thrive in life.”
Funds to build Habitat homes are raised through fundraisers, grants, sales from the ReStore and donations of materials or labor. Palouse Habitat spends those funds locally, purchasing building materials and hiring local subcontractors. Visit palousehabitat.org/donate to make a gift to help finish the home.
Volunteer to help finish Jake’s home! Tools, supervision and training are provided. We’re building three days a week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sign up online at https://palousehabitat.org.
