Whispers & Dreams, The Creation of Fine Wood Art

From June 18 to September 19, 2026, Moscow Contemporary presents Whispers & Dreams, The Creation of Fine Wood Art. There will be a public reception Saturday June 27, 4-6pm at Moscow Contemporary in the Palouse Place Mall. Organized by Troy Thompson, the woodturning exhibit brings together 8 additional turners from Yakima, the Tri-Cities, and the Moscow area. It features various vessel forms, sculptural objects and furniture pieces. The artists in the exhibit are: George Banning, John Barany, Heath Bateman, Leo Bowman, Jim Christiansen, Pat & Karen Miller, Troy Thompson, and Keith Welsh. A majority of all the work has been completed within the last year. There will be a public reception Saturday June 27, 4-6pm at Moscow Contemporary in the Palouse Place Mall.
