Suicide Prevention of the Inland Northwest (SPIN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing suicide rates and the stigma surrounding mental health in the Inland Northwest region. Through education, awareness events, and community engagement, SPIN aims to increase public understanding of suicide as a serious issue, provide prevention information and training, and eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness. Their initiatives include hosting annual events such as the “Taking Action Saving Lives” conference and the “Annual Walk for Hope,” which foster community involvement and remembrance of those lost to suicide. Additionally, SPIN collaborates with local agencies to offer resources and support for individuals affected by mental health challenges.
