Moscow Community Theatre (MCT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization dedicated to bringing affordable, high‑quality community theatre to the Palouse region. Founded in 1978 and supported by generations of volunteers, local businesses, and audience members, MCT provides theatre opportunities for participants of all ages—whether onstage, behind the scenes, or in the audience .
Each season, MCT stages two to three full-length, mainstage productions balancing classics, comedies, dramas, and occasionally musicals and Shakespeare—all at accessible prices. The organization relies on memberships, sponsorships, donations, and community volunteerism to sustain these creative offerings.
Through immersive programming, open auditions, and community outreach—including youth workshops—MCT builds a vibrant, inclusive local theatre community. Whether you’re drawn to performing, set design, ushering, or simply cheering from the seats, MCT welcomes your involvement and support.
