December 9, 2025 (Moscow, Idaho) — The City of Moscow is pleased to share results from this year’s Light Up the Season event. The 2025 Most DeLIGHTful Downtown Storefront title is bestowed to Gem State Crystals. Out of the 335 valid votes received, Gem State Crystals captured 49% of votes. They were followed by Latah Realty with 25% of the votes, North Idaho Athletic Club with 19%, and Hyperspud Sports with 7%. Gem State Crystals will have their business name engraved on the traveling DeLIGHTful Downtown trophy and will be able to display it in their store over the course of 2026.Over forty floats rolled along Main Street for the parade portion of Light Up the Season. Prior to the procession, 16 floats were judged in three Best Of categories. This year’s float winners are:Moscow Middle School – Cub Cheer Competition Team (Best Youth Entry)Inland North Waste (Best General entry)Simler Solutions LLC (Best Business entry)City of Moscow staff thanks Avista Utilities, Brush Creek Trails LLC, Hash Tree Company, Home and Harvest Magazine, and University of Idaho and Washington State University student volunteers for coming together and making this year’s Light Up the Season a warm and festive community event.
