March 12, 2026 (Moscow, Idaho) – The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Moscow beginning 11:00 PM tonight through Saturday afternoon. Heavy rain from an atmospheric river is expected to bring up to 3 inches of precipitation, potentially pushing Paradise Creek to flood stage (9.2 feet) by late Friday morning.
Moscow Residents Be Advised
- Free Sandbags are available 24/7 at the City Shop, 650 N Van Buren, for property protection.
- Please clear any leaves and debris from storm drain lids near your home to prevent localized street flooding if you are able to do so safely.

Areas of Concern
Based on current forecasts, flooding is most likely to impact:
- The intersection of Bridge Street and Hillcrest Drive.
- Low-lying areas near Damen Street.
