Winter Solstice Stroll

The Winter Solstice arrives at 7:03am on Sunday December 21 – welcome it a little later with a guided stroll around the trails at Idler’s Rest! Enjoy hot cocoa and cider while you learn a little about the history, animals, and plants that inhabit the preserve. Even better than getting outside on a brisk winter afternoon? The days will only get longer from here until the Summer Solstice, yippee!
Free, family- and four-legged pal friendly, everyone is welcome. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes -traction devices are recommended for slick trails.
