Voices & Votes Summer Teen Book Club 2nd Meeting

The Latah County Historical Society and Latah County Library District invite area teenagers to the second meeting of the Summer Voices & Votes Teen Book Club on Wednesday, July 30^th at 4pm in the McConnell Mansion Museum (110 S Adams St). Kids can choose between two books: Drawing the Vote: An Illustrated Guide to Voting in America by Tommy Jenkins and illustrated by Kati Lacker, or We Are Not Yet Equal: Understanding Our Racial Divide by Carol Anderson and Tonya Bolden. Both are available through the library catalog.

Two more book club meetings will be held in August in advance of the August 23^rd opening of the “Voices & Votes: Democracy in America” Smithsonian exhibit at the University of Idaho Library.
