Melodious Melodeons

The Latah County Historical Society invites you to the McConnell Mansion for an evening of history and music with the museum’s two historic melodeons on Wednesday, September 24^th, at 7pm. Musician and craftsman John Elwood has restored both instruments to playable condition in recent years and he will share anecdotes about the repairs and what he discovered while working on them. Linda Edwards will share some history about the instruments’ original owners, Carlton Cummings and the Canfield family, followed by musical performances by Deborah Collins and John Elwood.

This event is free and open to the public. The McConnell Mansion is located at 110 S Adams St in Moscow.
