Master of Fine Arts Thesis Artists’ Talks and Reception

Join us for Family Weekend on Friday, April 4 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. for artists’ talks by the graduate candidates featured in the Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition. This year’s MFA candidates are Cameron Kester, Anna Le, Abigail Nnaji, and Sara St. Clair, and will each speak briefly to introduce the body of work they are presenting in the exhibition. The talks will be followed by an opening reception from 4:00-6:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

About the Artists | Traveling from many places to join the cohort at WSU, these student-artists have engaged in an intense interdisciplinary studio program. They met regularly with faculty members for group and individual critiques. Visiting artists and scholars provided diverse one-on-one insight into their creative work. Each artist sharpened their confidence, convictions, and skills. Their MFA Thesis Exhibition is a focused conclusion, yet it also marks an exciting transition toward their professional careers.

LOCATION | The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU is located in the Crimson Cube (on Wilson Road across from Martin Stadium and the CUB) on the WSU Pullman campus.
