Making America’s Public Lands – Adam Sowards

The author will read from his most current book, Making America’s Public Lands (Rowman and Littlefield 4/2022), and be joined in conversation by Dr. Kenton Bird, about the history of public lands and their meaning in United States politics. A Q&A and book signing will follow. Adam M. Sowards is an award-winning environmental historian, writer, and professor. Making America’s Public Lands is his fifth book. At the heart of his work are questions about nature and democracy. He has taught at the University of Idaho since 2003.
