October 8, 2022 – Self Defense Class:  Presented by SASS Go – WSU Pullman Chinook, Room 150 – 1:00 pm – FREE

Participants are trained physically and mentally for the most common threats to their safety, from simple grabs to complex scenarios.  Join the Lauren McCluskey foundation and SASS Go in creating a community of women and girls who know they are worth the fight.  This class is taught by a certified and licensed instructor with SASS Go.  Join this class free of charge, have fun, learn how to use your voice and body, and leave feeling empowered.  This class is open to girls and women aged 15 and up.  Contact the Lauren McCluskey foundation for more details.

You can help in two ways:  (1) Come to the Dinner Auction and learn about the mission of the Lauren McCluskey Foundation.  You will be treated to a fabulous dinner catered by Oak on Main and much more!  Funds raised at the event will enable the Lauren McCluskey Foundation to continue working towards its mission and strategic initiatives.  The foundation honors the life and spirit of Lauren McCluskey by bringing awareness to, funding research for, and providing resources to change the culture that responds poorly to dating violence and stalking on campuses.  In addition, the foundation provides funding and support for amateur athletics and animal welfare, two of Lauren’s passions.  Tickets can be purchased online from our website and cost $50 per person ( 2 drink tickets included).  (2) We welcome community donors willing to provide auction items and monetary donations to help us reach our annual fundraising goals.  Contact us if you have an item you want to donate or make a donation online on our website.
