Intensive One-day Money Coaching Workshop

April 27, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Would you like to create a more purposeful & prosperous life and improve your money relationship? Would you like to understand and remove unconscious money blocks to achieve your highest potential? Would you simply like to feel better about money and your life? If so, Money Coaching is for you!

What is Money Coaching?
Money Coaching combines both practical financial advice with sound psychological principles to help transform your relationship with money and lead you to a more purposeful and prosperous life. We don’t talk about budgets or retirement; a spreadsheet never graces our Zoom
room. What we do talk about is our unconscious patterns that we have developed throughout our lives and learn ways to work with them or remove them from our money language. These patterns and behaviors shape our money relationships and so many other aspects of our lives. I promise… we don’t sing Kumbaya ? but we do dive into a deeper understanding of these blocks that create stress, anxiety and fear and prevent you from having the life you desire.

How do I get involved in a group?
The University of Idaho Extension is offering an intensive workshop for anyone interested in changing their relationship with money…today. We know that you are busy so we are adapting this 8 week program to fit into less time with the same benefits. The group workshop will be held in a one-day workshop from 9:00am-3:30pm (including breaks) via Zoom on
April 27th. Mark your calendars today.
During the first part of the workshop, we will discover your past money patterns and language; to finish the day, we will explore your future goals and dreams and reframe your specific money habits so they begin helping you reach your aspirations instead of slowing you down. After completion of the workshop and your “opportunities to reframe your money life” challenges, you will be ready to schedule an individual meeting with your coach (via Zoom) to discuss your
detailed portfolio. This meeting is really where ALL the magic happens.

Who’s my coach?
Karen Richel is a University of Idaho Extension Associate Professor in Latah County and is the Family Finance Extension educator for all ten North Idaho counties. Her education, background and certifications as an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) and a Certified Money Coach (CMC®) enable her to help you reframe challenging past money memories, tame unhealthy spending habits and create resilient financial plans and design a sustainable path to wealth planning. Karen has worked extensively in the prison system and with no- and low-income households for the past 13 years so she appreciates the unique financial barriers these audiences may have and provides unbiased, non-judgmental, confidential direction. Don’t let this be an excuse that stops you from changing your life today. So are you ready to reimagine your
money habits and build a strong financial foundation and future together?

What do I need to participate?
You will need to have access to a computer, the Internet, email, a printer and a scanner (phone photos work fine too).
Your packet will come to you along with the link and password to our Zoom room prior to the event. We will be using your computer and the Internet during the workshop. The other things before and after.

How much does this cost and how do I register?
All of this is free-of-charge. Space is limited however and registration is required. Email Karen at krichel@uidaho.edu or call 208-883-2241 to reserve your spot before April 22nd.
