Brontë’s timeless classic, Jane Eyre is the story of a young woman who was orphaned as an infant and raised by an aunt who despises her. Independent-spirited and restless for opportunity, Jane takes employment at Thornfield Hall as a governess, where she meets Edward Rochester—a man of dark moods and biting humor—and finds herself falling in love. However, Thornfield’s dark secrets threaten to tear them apart.
The musical, Jane Eyre is based on the novel by Charlotte Brontë, with music arrangement by Paul Gordon, and book and additional lyrics by John Caird. Nominated for five Tony Awards (including Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book), this Broadway adaptation brings Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel to life in a whole new way with a hauntingly beautiful score. It is being presented by APOD Productions through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
