The Latah County Human Rights Task Force 2023 MARTIN LUTHER KING HUMAN RIGHTS COMMUNITY BREAKFAST

January 21, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Registration for the Martin Luther King Human Rights Breakfast, both in person and online is now available at www.humanrightslatah.org. In person participation will be limited to 100 people so early registration is advised, but attendance on-line is not limited, so everyone can take part and join together to help strengthen the cause of peace and justice for our community and region.

In working for social justice and human rights, what you do counts! And coming together to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King is a way of doing something positive and meaningful to help foster a culture of compassion, caring and respect. The Latah County Human Rights Task Force invites you to do what counts and join in for the 2023 MARTIN LUTHER KING HUMAN RIGHTS COMMUNITY BREAKFAST IN PERSON OR BY ZOOM ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 21 AT 9:30AM at Moscow Middle School. The event includes presentation of the Rosa Parks Human Rights Achievement Awards, lively music, and an inspiring and challenging address by noted keynote speaker, Dr. Scott Finnie on the subject of “Community and Human Rights: Growing Together.” A continental breakfast will be served to those attending in person at the Moscow Middle School.

There is no charge for this event. However, this is our only fundraiser of the year, and all donations will be used to provide human rights and diversity programs for area schools and communities. There is a donation button on our website and you can also send a check to Latah County Human Rights Task Force; Box 8613; Moscow, ID 83843. Help us fulfill our social justice mission of:  Supporting diversity, inclusion and equity while opposing prejudice, harassment, and discrimination.
