Work includes on-the-ground and in-office support for the Moscow Farmers Market, implementation of annual events such as the 4th of July Celebration, National Farmers Market Week Celebration, Vandal Town Block Party, and more. Administrative tasks include maintenance of office operations, coordinating volunteers, designing and preparing public relations materials, creating social media content, coordinating agendas and minutes for Commission meetings and more. The schedule for this position adjusts seasonally, Tuesday through Saturday from May to October, and Monday through Friday for the balance of the year. Other nights and weekends may be required. Successful candidates need any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform the position’s essential functions successfully. Six (6) months related experience in hospitality management, local government, or non-profit environment is preferred; One (1) year experience with youth and local food programming is also preferred. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a criminal history background check are required. Starting pay is $18.60+ per hour, depending on experience.
