June 10, 2026 (Moscow, Idaho) — The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission are exploring options for a potential mural installation at the new stage planned for East City Park, with the public invited to provide input about the project theme by 5 p.m. on June 12, 2026.
At this time, the public is welcome to contribute a favorite story or memory of East City Park. Moscow Poet Laureate, Miriam Akervall, will reflect on these stories while writing a poem to prompt the mural artist. The poem will be incorporated into the call for mural artists, which is anticipated to be presented to City Council for consideration in late summer 2026.
