Moscow, Idaho – Inland North Waste is thrilled to invite one and all to our fifth annual Earth Day Celebration on Saturday April 25th from 4-7 PM at East City Park in Moscow, Idaho. As in years past, this will be a free, family-focused event with live folk music from Frogtown USA, free food courtesy of C&L Locker and INW Staff, adult beverages for purchase by Shattuck Brewery, story time from the Moscow Public Library, face painting, informative and interactive displays, games, giveaways, and more in honor of the countless people and organizations who go above and beyond to clean, protect, and preserve our environment.
We will be joined this year by the Moscow Food Coop, the City of Moscow, Palouse Basin Aquifer Committee, Department of Environmental Quality, Palouse Land Trust, Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute, Sierra Club, Nimíipuu Protecting the Environment, University of Idaho Extension, Moscow Contemporary Art Gallery, and Girl Scouts of America.
Earth Day at East City Park is part of Inland North Waste’s ongoing ‘We Wave Back’ campaign, which seeks to celebrate and give back to the Palouse community. Be sure to check INW’s website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts as the date gets closer for further information on the event itself.
