SPOKANE, Wash. – February 26, 2025: Avista is hosting a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, March 5, at 12:00 PM to gather public feedback on its 2025 Natural Gas Integrated Resource Plan.
The Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) looks at the next 20 years to determine how much natural gas will be needed and where those resources could come from while balancing reliability, cost and environmental sustainability. Public input is integral to the process, and feedback from stakeholders helps shape the final plans, which are submitted to utility commissions in each state Avista serves.
The public meeting will begin with a presentation providing details about the plan followed by an opportunity for questions and commentary.
More information about the 2025 Natural Gas IRP plan and a recording of the meeting afterwards can be found at myavista.com/IRP.
