ArtWalk 2025–2026 Poster Contest – Rules & Regulations

1. Eligibility

• Open to all artists, designers, and illustrators — amateur or professional — regardless of age.
• Entries may be submitted individually or as a team.
• Members of the contest judging panel and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2. Submission Requirements

• Theme: Design should celebrate the spirit of ArtWalk — creativity, community, and connection.
• Poster Format:.
  • Full-color, high-resolution digital file (minimum 300 DPI).
  • Acceptable formats: .PDF, .PNG, or .JPG.
• Include space for official ArtWalk and sponsor logos (exact placement may be adjusted after winner selection).
• Artwork must be original and not infringe on copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
• Limit of two (2) entries per person.

3. How to Submit

• Submissions must be sent via the official contest entry form online.
• Include your name, email, phone number, and a short artist statement (50–100 words).
• Deadline for submissions: Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:59 PM (PT).

4. Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following:

• Creativity & Originality – Unique artistic vision and innovative use of elements.
• Visual Impact – Overall appeal and ability to attract attention.
• Relevance to Theme – Reflects the spirit of ArtWalk and the Moscow arts community.
• Clarity of Information – Dates and essential text are clear and easy to read.
• Reproducibility – Works well in both print and digital formats.

5. Winner Selection & Prize

• One (1) winning design will be chosen.
• The winner will receive a $100 Moscow Gift Card.
• The winning artwork will be used as the official ArtWalk 2025–2026 poster and may be featured in additional promotional materials (flyers, social media, banners, etc.).

6. Rights & Usage

• By entering, artists grant the Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center (MCOC+VC) the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to reproduce, distribute, and display the submitted artwork for promotional purposes related to ArtWalk.
• The artist retains copyright and will be credited where feasible.
• The MCOC+VC reserves the right to modify the winning design for formatting or informational purposes (e.g., adding logos, adjusting layout, correcting typos).

7. Additional Rules

All decisions by the judging panel are final.

Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

The MCOC+VC reserves the right not to select a winner if no submissions meet quality standards.
